FUEL CRISES: OUR SILENCE IS ILLEGAL- NIGERIAN SENATE

NINGIThe Senate has mandated its Committees on Petroleum Downstream and upstream to investigate circumstances surrounding the lingering fuel crises in the Country with a view to finding lasting solutions. This followed a point of order, under personal explanation, raised by the Deputy Senate Leader Abdul Ningi who expressed serious concern over the inability of government to solve the problem of the prolong fuel crises in the country. He called upon the senate to take appropriate measure for the best interest of the country. “It is not morally right and it is illegal to keep silent about the situation or we sweep the matter it under the carpet, Nigeria is already going through economy and security challenges and this has to stop, the situation he described as embarrassing”.
