Check Out Inside Turkey’s ₦238 billion Plane Gift From Qatari’s Ruler

This plane was up for sale earlier in August by Qatar’s royal family of Tamim Bin Hamad Bin Al Thani, but had his mind change when he found out that Turkey had showed interest in buying the £500 million aircraft gave it as a gift to the Turkish government.

The 747-8i Jumbo Jet wearing a bold red and white paint with ‘Republic Of Turkey’ painted on its side and a big crescent and star on its belly, was originally registered VQ-BSK, now carries the registration TC-TRK has only been flown for 403.2 hours.

The expensive jet was delivered to Qatar’s Royal family in 2012 but didn’t enter service until 2015 because of extensive interior upgrades.
