Sony Music Drops R. Kelly Over Series Alleged Sexual Abuse

Sony Music has end ties with American R&B singer, R. Kelly from its record label over series of allegations of abduction, sexual abuse and exploitation, after cries for #MuteRKelly campaign amidst the #SurvivingRKelly backlash.

According to reports, the artiste, was also removed from the RCA website whose parent company is Sony Music shortly after 10 a.m. PT on Friday, Jan. 18.

According to reports, Sony doesn’t plan on making a formal announcement but waded through the issues “responsibly” and to “avoid legal ramifications.”
