The Minister of Info and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, has mourned the demise of the late tunes icon, Sir Victor Olaiya.
Mohammed in a assertion sent to Everyday Publish signed by his Exclusive Assistant on Media, Segun Adeyemi explained inspite of his age, Olaiya’s demise arrived as a shock to him.
He described Olaiya, as a legend whose songs signposted a fantastic epoch in the heritage of Nigeria.
The minister included that the death of Olaiya was a terrific reduction to the Imaginative Market.
”Sir Victor Olaiya was not just a musician, but a great patriot, as a result it was not a surprise that he played officially when the nation turned unbiased in 1960 and when it grew to become a republic in 1963.
