Nigerian common musician, Iyanya Mbuk, popularly identified as Iyanya on Thursday was granted bail in the sum of N20 million by an Igbosere Higher Court in Lagos around alleged motor vehicle theft.
Iyanya, who rose to fame after successful the very first time of Project Fame West Africa is struggling with a count cost of thieving.
The charge was most popular by the Specific Fraud Unit (SFU) of the Nigeria Law enforcement.
In her ruling, Justice Mobolanle Okikiolu-Ighile, mentioned: “I have perused the affidavit and the counter-affidavit of the parties there is a prima facie scenario of criminal conversion from him.
She directed that the bail must be perfected inside of the future 7 days or in any other case it shall be revoked”.
She said, “However, there is nothing to display that the defendant will interfere with the proceedings of this circumstance and absolutely nothing to exhibit that he will jump bail if granted.
“Bail is, consequently, granted to the defendant in the sum of N20 million with just one surety in like sum”.
She requested that the surety will have to have a landed property in Lagos and have its certificate of occupancy.
The judge then adjourned the situation until eventually May perhaps 27 for demo.

It claimed that the car belonged to the complainant, Temple Administration Company Ltd. represented by a law firm, Ayodeji Olomojobi.
The SFU alleged that Iyanya fully commited the offence sometime in September 2018, in contravention of Part 285(10) of the Criminal Law of Lagos Point out, 2011.
