The Defence Headquarters (DHQ) has reported that its troops have neutralised many Boko Haram/ISWAP terrorists, wrecked gun vehicles and recovered weapons at Gajigana in Nganzai LGA of Borno State.
Main General John Enenche, Coordinator, Defence Media Operations, produced this acknowledged in a assertion on Monday.
According to Enenche, the procedure was carried out on Could 17 by troops of 212 Bn, Sector 1, Operation LAFIYA DOLE.
The assertion reads: “Troops of 212 Bn, Sector 1 Operation LAFIYA DOLE on Might 17, 2020, correctly repelled BHT/ISWAP attack and killed a number of terrorists, recovered arms and ammunition at Gajigana in Nganzai LGA of Borno Point out. The unit had previously received credible intelligence reports on BHT convergence and progression to assault troops’ place at Gajigana from Goni Usmanti Village in Nganzai Area Governing administration Region.
