Popular Guinean new music icon, Mory Kante has died. Kante assisted introduce African new music to the earth phase in the 1980s. He died at the age of 70.
The ‘Yeke Yeke’ hitmaker died in medical center on Friday in the Guinea funds, Conakry, and his son, Balla Kanté confirmed the unfortunate news.
He informed the AFP news company his father died from overall health troubles that had been still left untreated owing to the coronavirus outbreak.

“He experienced from long-term diseases and usually travelled to France for procedure but that was no for a longer time possible with the coronavirus. We saw his situation deteriorate speedily, but I was however surprised because he’d been through a great deal even worse instances right before.” Kante’s son said.
